Sun Quote Direct LLC (“Sun Quote Direct,” “we,” “us”) is a solar quote referral service. You answer a few questions about your home and electric bill, and if you may be a fit, we match you with one, and only one, local solar professional. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Your answers: why you are looking into solar, your interest in new solar or solar plus battery, whether you own or rent, property type, electric bill range, credit score range (a range you choose, not a credit report), and your electric utility.
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address.
- Property address: the address you enter, which we may verify using Google address autocomplete.
- Automatic information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and advertising identifiers such as Facebook click IDs and UTM campaign parameters that tell us which ad brought you here.
How we use it
- To check whether your home may be a fit for a solar quote and to match you with one local solar professional.
- To point you to a homeownership assistance resource if you rent or don’t fit the solar program.
- To contact you about your request by phone, email, and text message, as you agreed when you submitted the form.
- To measure and improve our advertising, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- One matched solar professional. We do not sell your information to a lead marketplace or send it to multiple installers.
- Service providers that run our systems for us: customer-management and scheduling tools (GoHighLevel and SunPod), automation services, website hosting (Cloudflare), and address lookup (Google).
- Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to understand which ads lead to form submissions. These may send Meta information such as your contact details (hashed), ad click ID, and actions on our pages. Meta’s use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Calls and text messages
If you check the consent box, you agree that Sun Quote Direct or a matched partner may contact you about your request, which may include a solar quote or a related homeownership program, by phone, email, and SMS, including using automated technology where permitted. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out or HELP for help. Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
Your privacy choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. California residents also have the rights below under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of some other states have similar rights.

- Delete or correct your personal information.
- Opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, through the Meta Pixel). Send us an opt-out request using the contact details below.
- Not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, email or call us. We may need to confirm your identity, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. You can also limit advertising tracking through your browser and through Meta’s ad settings.
Children
Our service is for adults who own or rent a home. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
